The Iron-Barr Group, Inc., a non-profit organization est. in 1994 in South Florida. Iron-Barr develops original plays, present motivational workshops, and provides wholesome entertainment to inspire, empower, and motivate youth. Its mission encourages family involvement.

We extend services to religious institutions, universities, corporate companies, youth counseling groups, family events, weddings, parties and other organizations. Services may be requested for fund-raising events as well.

Native Miamian, Ms. Judy Barr is a powerhouse motivational speaker, singer, actress, spoken word artist, poet, and accomplished playwright. She has co-written, directed, and produced major productions such as “Soul Journey,” “I am the Blues,” “The Rhythm.” Her empowerment workshops and seminars, “Vision Power” and "I Am An Educator" has commissioned her to local middle and high schools where she has been praised as leaving a remarkable impression on the youth as well as the staff. She has been labeled as a great orator having inspired graduating law students at Nova Southeastern University in Dania, FL and abroad. Her work has been presented as far as Uppsala, Sweden.

Ms. Judy Barr is the founder of The Iron-Barr Group, Inc. She is an alumni of Miami Northwestern Senior High School in Miami, FL; ultimately a graduate of Miami Carol City Sr. High School where she honed her writing skills and talent.

Ms. Barr’s interest for charity and philanthropic work began in high school while working on various social clubs and committees. She continues her work and has served on several boards; the National Council of Negro Women, Neighborhood Crime-watch Groups and many other local and national committees. Ms. Barr has been instrumental in working with City Commissioners and various organizations to implement programs to help at risk youth. Her service to her community has gained her numerous awards and recognition recognized by Bennett College as one of several women to be honored as “Women of Year 2007.” Through her talents, she motivates others. Her philosophy is, when you have a vision that you can see, follow it until it becomes reality.

Ms. Barr has extensive work in implementing programs to transform inner-city communities and has partnered with County Municipalities state-wide, County Mayor and Commission Boards, Community Colleges and State Universities, Miami-Dade County Public School as well as the Miami-Dade County Public Library Systems local and State facilitated institutions such as the Department of Juvenile Justice to develop and structure youth programs. Ms. Barr was an invited attendee for the groundbreaking construction of the Miami Performing Arts Center in Downtown, Miami, as one of Miami's Emerging Arts Leaders.
